Barbara Rowe Betjemann
Barbara Rowe Betjemann is a plein air artist and works with oils, watercolor and pen and ink. She has also done illustrations for four published technical manuals. Barbara grew up in Connecticut and Rhode Island, and after her education at Northfield School and the Rhode Island School of Design, she and her family moved to Northern New Hampshire where they managed a small farm. She painted there and also attended the Phoebe Flory Watercolor School and numerous watercolor workshops with Zoltan Szabo. Later on they decided to move to seacoast New Hampshire to be closer to their family where she has painted and illustrated for the past twenty years. Barbara has always felt grateful to have spent most of her life living in New Hampshire.
